Summary of Position
Work on special projects to assist in the financial preparations for strategic initiatives, such as re-financing, new product launches, acquisitions. This position will work closely on FP&A side with sales, marketing and functional leadership. The position will also be the lead on HFM reporting, ensuring North America ERP systems align with HFM.
Essential Functions

Designated subject matter expert on financial analysis and reporting into HFM

Coordinate, consolidate and analyze monthly actual packages and forecast packages

Provide analytical data due to requests from corporate regarding 5-year plan and forecasts

Prepare actual financial reporting and variance explanations in differing formats for use by business management and corporate, including external reporting

Work with auditors to ensure data accuracy

Manage ad-hoc financial reporting requests submitted to the North America team

Support ERP system conversion

Work with Sr. Director Finance and CFO NA to prepare key strategic and business analyses, key metric tracking, and provide support to the decision-making process

Develop and update the forecast and 5-year plan calendars to ensure information is received timely

Back-up to coordinate, consolidate, and analyze the annual 5-year plan and maintain / update Excel and PowerPoint plan and budget files

Analyze current forecast and budget process and identify and implement changes

Back-up to sales incentive compensation calculations for actual payout calculations

Review / ensure account recs are completed and accurate

Optimize awareness and knowledge to ensure compliance to, and maintenance of, internal controls in accordance with Curium policies and local tax regulations and accounting legislation
Requirements

BS Accounting or Finance with MBA/CPA preferred

8 to 10 years of experience preferred (financial planning, general accounting and financial systems)

Strong finance and analytical skills; clear ability to work with people in a seamless manner; superior use of excel and ability to quickly learn other IT systems; ability to work with senior management and exercise good business judgement

This position will work in typical office conditions with extensive time using personal computer equipment

The position deals with many deadlines. Due to the short turnaround time of deadlines and limited time other departments have to complete the information, overtime is sometimes required
