Scope of Position:
We are a growing and dynamic organization where you will have the opportunity to play an integral role as a Contract Recruiter. Partnering with our Human Resources and Talent Acquisition team, you will be providing full-cycle recruitment, driving the recruiting efforts for your assigned requisitions. This includes sourcing and screening resumes, performing phone screens, updating the ATS, etc. This is not a remote position – onsite full time required in our Maryland Heights, Missouri location.  We are not seeking 3rd party agency assistance with staffing this role. 
Essential Functions:
  • Assisting in driving talent management, you’ll be performing full cycle recruiting activities including partnering with management on positions, sourcing and screening potential candidates, and partnering with the Recruiting Coordinator and others to coordinate on-site interviews, background checks, etc. for a variety of positions.
  • Assessing candidate information to determine matches between candidates and position requirements, submitting qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Conducting interviews including phone screens of potential candidates to determine skill match and inform candidates on position requirements, benefits, recruiting process, etc.
  • Partnering with team members and hiring manager in preparation of candidate offers.
  • Managing, updating and tracking candidates and requisitions on ATS.
  • Maintain relationships with agencies, functioning as a liaison between management and the agencies.
  • May participate in special projects / recruiting initiatives.
  • Keeping up to date on industry trends, including client, market and unemployment conditions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate full life cycle recruiting experience with a minimum of 2 of those years recruiting in the pharma / biotech / medical device / life science industries.
  • Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office and previous experience working with an ATS.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate candidates for cultural fit.
  • Excellent grammatical and proofreading skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills; high sense of urgency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write routine reports, phone screen notes, correspondence, and job ads.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to collaborate, build and maintain positive relationships with management, co-workers, peers, candidates, and external vendors
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Sense of humor and flexibility.
  • Ability to represent Curium in a professional manner.
Working Conditions:
  • Standard office environment, willingness to work in a plant producing radioactive materials and requiring all employees to participate in safety programs designed to minimize potential and/or actual exposure levels.
  • Responsibilities also include the ability to lift, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, and climb stairs with or without accommodation.
  • May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing duties.
  • Willingness to work in a team based environment.
  • Close attention to detail required.
